After playing in a few rock/alternative bands, such as Someone Like You which won Best Alternative Band in the Hill Country in 2007. John has returned to his roots in country music.

This often sought out musician is a staple in the San Antonio Music scene, Stevo has played in many popular rock acts in the area while also maintaining the reputation of being one of the city's most popular jazz musicians. His resume' reads like an atlas, having performed all of the Southwest and Midwest United States, and frequent tours of Europe. Stevo's harmonies are a welcome addition to every band he has played in.

He's mixed shows by national acts such as Gene Watson, Gary P. Nunn, Sam & Dave, Trout Fishing In America, and many others. He's currently writing music and playing bass with the Televators, who are recording their debut CD.
